Suryodaya School: A Both Kanoria Foundation And SREI Initiative

Under the guidance and vision of both SREI and Kanoria Foundation, Mr Hemant Kanoria, the Suryodaya School was formed with the vision of educating the students from very low-income groups in slum areas in Kolkata. Right now the school is located in two areas of Kolkata, Santospur and Birati and just like other initiatives of SREI and Kanoria Foundation, this is also built to uplift the poor society of India in the spotlight. 

These English medium schools have created an environment for learning and educating themselves. With education, they are also focusing on other vocational activities in the school premises as well like dance, art and craft, computer, football on the ground and many more to make the students not only educated but multi-diverse as well to make their future a bit more secure. The Suryodaya School, an initiative of SREI and Kanoria Foundation also focuses on the health of the students as well as education by providing them healthy meals, weekly basis health check-ups and treatment referrals as well. Because keeping the students healthy is the foremost important thing to do. 

Mr. Hemant Kanoria’s continuous initiative is that the school’s important work is to make them good responsible citizens by educating them in various ways. 

The Suryodaya Montessori School

Suryodaya’s main motive is to educate the young minds of our country through proper education and skills. In today’s world, which become quite dynamic and wants devotion, observation and analysis, the schools always try to help the students to reach optimum personal and academic potentials. We are someone who always encourages each and every unique thing of each student to help them to grow as global citizens. All students need is a good and healthy atmosphere for educating themselves. 

The Montessori school of us always try to maintain a welcoming and healthy atmosphere by maintaining good relationships between students, teachers, teaching staff and parents as well. 

In our school, students are also getting quite engaged with several activities that help to increase their hand-eye coordination, motor skills, cognitive empowerment and strengths like Yoga, Meditation, Nature Study, Art and Craft and many more.
