When you sit for a long time you are at an increased risk of health problems like diabetes, heart disease and early death. You should take breaks while working in the sitting position for a prolonged time. Or you can work using a sit-stand desk.

This desk allows you to work in sitting as well as standing positions. It is also called a standing desk. It has an adjustable height and you can easily raise or lower the desk. You can work in the standing position and when you get tired you can continue to work in the sitting position. You should work half the time standing and the other half sitting.

When you work standing you stand in the right posture which is considered a more healthier way to work than working in the sitting position. Office goers work in the sitting position for about 8 hours and now the standing desk is becoming more popular.
